Mission Statement

Vision:

Miller Library inspires the Washington College community to pursue the joy of discovery.

Mission:

Miller Library’s mission is to stimulate and enrich the intellectual life of Washington College. It supports the College by challenging students to engage in activities that require them to think analytically and communicate effectively. The library shares the College’s commitment to academic rigor and integrity, and strongly supports its exceptional faculty in their teaching and research endeavors.

The library provides access to and delivery of academic resources that support the curriculum, an integrated information literacy program, and personalized research assistance in a physical and virtual environment that fosters independent and collaborative learning and research.

Miller Library prepares students for a lifetime of learning and discovery in a world of rapid information expansion. The library strives to be a top-performing resource that helps to attract and retain students at Washington College.

Fridays:
